Japan Trip - Tokyo, Daikanyama - Last Day

There's no such thing as never ending vocation. Hence, it comes to our last day in Japan.

Well, in one hand, we're kindda sad that our honeymoon is coming to an end. But on the other hand, we can't wait to have nasi lemak for supper when we back home.

But before we bid farewell to Japan, we still can't get over the beauty of Daikanyama. Therefore, we decided to visit there once more before going to the airport.

Having lunch at this cosy Pancake Cafe.

This railway track separated Roo bags store and Mr. Friendly store.

We adopted this Mr. Friendly. He's with Chuan Ai in Moscow/Houston now.

On the train to Narita Airport. I just had a big work out and sweating like a pig.

We were so hungry and needed to packet some sushi on board.

Our plane is waiting for us to board. Goodbye Japan. It's been a great experience. We'll be back!

Japan Trip - Tokyo, Shibuya, Daikanyama - Day Eight

Our last second day in Japan. Weather is extremely hot!!! Excuse me, Yahoo! Weather, where's the thunderstorm?!
In the day, we headed down to Shibuya. So much about 109 and stuff. Frankly, I'm not impress. Luckily, Daikanyama saved our day when we discovered this area. This is the kind of place that I wish to live in with Chuan Ai. Peaceful yet with a small number of really interesting shops. We're in love with Daikanyama.

Is this the infamous cross junction that we see on most Japan drama?

Pink Dragon. Great rockabilly store. We got our first couple tees here.

Beside Pink Dragon, it's our favourite American Apparel store. Too bad for me, as the men selection are limited.

Yet another amazing Bape store.

Last shot at Shibuya 109 before we headed over to Daikanyama.

This is the kindda place that we wanna grow old at!

Beautiful old building that filled with shops on the ground floor.

Chilling out at Sign cafe which is located beside the train station.

Japan Trip - Tokyo, Harajuku - Day Seven

On the second day in Tokyo, we visited the shopping paradise of streetwear - Harajuku. In the night, we went 333m on the Tokyo Tower to enjoy the view of Tokyo.

At Harajuku station.

This is the starting point of my streetwear shopping spree.

My favourite brand Stussy - Harajuku Chapt. Above is Undefeated store.

Head Porter...bag, bag and more bag.

Bathing Ape store.

Lunch at Wendy's.

Night fall, we explored our way to the Tokyo Tower.

At the foot of Tokyo Tower.

On 333m of the tower.

Great performance by duo Switch on the Tower.

My first neo-print with Chuan Ai on the Tower. It's really my first time taking neo-print.

I contributed my artwork for an art project a ampm store. When will our local 7-Eleven contribute their public service for local art scene?

Dinner time near our hotel.

Japan Trip - Tokyo, Shinjuku - Day Six

After Hakone, we're heading to Tokyo today. That's when my camera run out of batteries. Therefore, not many pics were taken.

After last night dinner, we're afraid of the meal served here. It's massive! Breakfast like this serving at 8am....arrrgghhhh.......we never a morning person. haha...

Taking train to Tokyo. Later, both of us fell asleep and missed the station we supposed to drop off.

"Mr. Ticket Inspector, no we didn't take a joyride. We paid for a 7-day JR pass which costs S$300+!!!"

Japan Trip - Hakone - Day Five

Today, we packed up and check-out of Sunroute Hotel. Saying goodbye to Umeda, Osaka, the place where we stay for the past four days. Hakone, here we come.

We brought foods on board the train for breakfast. It's going to be a long ride.

At Odawara station.

Our traditional suite at the Yoshiike hotel. Beautiful!!!

The pond at the entrance of the hotel. This is a very beautiful hotel. Trust us.

We grabbed a take-away for lunch as we're so hungry. Sitting and eating away at the train station. Later did we realised that this most shops in this town closed at 5pm. We missed the sight-seeing chance of Fuji Mountain from the ropeway. We ended walking around near our hotel.

Posing by the river.

This is what I called 'real' room service! We were being served a 3-course dinner right in our room.

After dinner, we headed for the in-house hot spring. Romantic!

Snack from Hakone. Nice packaging.

Japan Trip - Kyoto - Day Four

It's Day No. 4. We took a train to ancient capital of Japan, Kyoto, from Osaka.

Arrived at Kyoto after about 30mins train ride from Osaka.

First stop, we visited Nijo Castle which was built in 1603.

The Honmaru Palace within the Castle.

Ice-creams to the rescue....it's really very hot walking around the castle.

After the Castle, we took a bus to Chionin Temple.

From one temple, we took bus to another. However, when we reached Kinkakuji Temple, it was closed. The atmosphere is so serene.

We walked around the neighbourhood for 15 mins. It was a really nice and peaceful environment. Then we decided to dine in this western restaurant.

After dinner, we took bus to Shijo area to see the Gion Matsuri carriages. It's one of Kyoto major local festival.

Saying goodbye to Kyoto before catching the last train back to Osaka.
